Automated Colorimetric analyses and nitrogen

The lab is equipped with the following equipment:

KONELAB 30 discrete clinical analyser: Routine clinical assays include glucose, creatinine, Ca, P, protein, triglycerides, cholesterols, NEFA and blood enzyme assays. This instrument is capable of analysing a wide range of analytes from physiological fluids.

AACE sequential flow analyser: Routine assays include rumen ammonia, microKjeldahl nitrogen, uric acid, and some major minerals. The equipment is versatile and can be adapted for the colorimetric analysis of many analytes from physiological fluids or acid extracts.

Variomax Automated N nitrogen analyser: this instrument is used for the analysis of total nitrogen in foods, faeces, carcass and milk samples. (Urines need to be prepared by microKjeldahl digestion)
